Role Description
The Listed Derivatives (Exchange Traded Derivatives) business offers execution and clearing services for firm clients and internal franchise desks who wish to execute and/or clear listed derivatives (futures and options) across global execution venues (exchanges) and CCP’s (Clearing Houses). The LD business caters to clients in Europe, US and APAC and is supported by dedicated operational teams across the globe.

Your key responsibilities
- To ensure LME trades are allocated and cleared within the regulatory timelines.
- Identify and escalate any T0 issues immediately to the Desk and the manager.
- To ensure processes are performed as per defined Key Operating Processes.
- To escalate unusual activity (high or low volumes or dollar amounts, new client activity, slow systems, delayed approvals).
- Awareness of risks attached to the processes and escalation of potential risks to Team Lead.
- Contribution to intra and end of day monitoring of process checkpoints and investigation of issues experienced by the team members.
Your skills and experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Investment Banking operations with at least 3 years spent in Listed Derivatives (Futures and Options) Clearing.
- Knowledge and experience in European derivatives exchanges clearing; in particular, London Metal Exchange (LME) Clearing.
- Proficient with applications like LME Smart, GMI and Clearvision.
- Flexible to work in early and late UK shifts.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to take on responsibility and learn new tasks.
- Sound desktop PC skills including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately, even under tight deadlines.
