Civil & Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the civil and structural engineering design and analysis for data center infrastructure projects, from concept to construction.
2. Utilize ETABS and other structural design software to perform advanced analysis and design of structural systems (e.g., foundations, slabs, beams, columns, and structural steel).
3. Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers to ensure that structural designs meet operational, safety, and regulatory requirements for data center environments.
4. Conduct load analysis, seismic assessments, and wind load calculations specific to data center needs, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
5. Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
6. Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including detailed drawings and specifications.
7. Evaluate and optimize structural systems to meet cost and schedule requirements without compromising safety or quality.
8. Perform on-site inspections during construction to ensure compliance with design specifications and resolve any design-related issues that arise.

Experience & Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience working as a Civil/Structural Engineer with a focus on data centers or similar critical infrastructure.
3. Strong proficiency in ETABS for structural analysis and design.
4. Expertise in structural design, including foundations, building frames, floor systems, and seismic analysis.
5. Familiarity with data center-specific standards, such as those related to HVAC, power distribution, redundancy, and cooling systems.
6. Knowledge of industry codes and standards (e.g., AISC, ACI, ASCE, Eurocode, and local regulations).
