Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Serve as a liaison between Technology, Product leads, and Operations Stakeholders.
2. A keen eye for detail with ability to influence stakeholders with a view to drive consensus.
3. Assist in requirements creation, scope definition and priorities.
4. Create Epics, stories and keep the documentation up-to-date.
5. Drive creation of detailed functional specifications with AS-IS process flows and target state processes.
6. Provide functional support throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements/functional specs to reviewing SIT and UAT test cases, and supporting all the testing phases.
7. Partner with the development teams to facilitate the build effort (e.g. ensuring build teams understanding of the specifications).
8. Manage changes to requirements per process.
9. Develop use cases, and partner with the business to ensure sign-off on all requirements, testing and implementation.
10. Facilitate implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demonstrations, and the development of appropriate documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years of relevant Business Analysis experience.
• Experience obtaining requirements from business users and subject matter experts, reviewing business priorities, and/or analyzing options & risks.
• Trade Finance domain experience is a plus.
• Ability to write and create detailed business and functional requirements.
• Ability to lead a team of BAs to deliver functional solutions for business problems.
• Experience creating functional system requirements specifications.
• Pro-actively lead/participate in design/solution architecting of target state.
• Ability to interface directly with Senior Business Stakeholders and operation users.
• Well versed with MS Excel, Jira, Mind Maps, and SQL.
• Detail-oriented, strong analytical and communication skills are a must.
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of information, and a curiosity to ask appropriate questions to fully develop business and functional requirements.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle.
• Agile experience.
• Understanding of programming languages like Java, Python will be an added advantage.
