Job description

As Brand Manager of Emami Ltd, the incumbent:

  1. Ensures that the brand’s equity is nurtured & nourished in keeping with strategic objectives.
  2. Assists in developing and executing the marketing & branding strategy to improve market share and reach.
  3. Defines the brand & its proposition & activation, its advertising concept, pricing, packaging, and promotion.
  4. Coordinates with sales department to implement & monitor marketing initiatives for the brand.
  5. Ensures effective media evaluation & planning to attain maximum ROI by coordinating with key media providers for the Brand.
  6. Plans, strategizes, and ensures the implementation of the strategies to achieve the brand objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develops a strategy for the brand in alignment with the corporate plans and overall marketing plans.
  2. Understands & defines the brand identity & aligns all the brands’ plans accordingly.
  3. Coordinates with advertising & research agencies as well as consultants to develop suitable brand initiatives to position the brand in keeping with the above identity.
  4. Plans ATL & BTL to deliver the required value proposition, as derived from the above brand identity.
  5. Coordinates with R&D for product conceptualization, positioning, new product development, etc.
  6. Scans the business environment to explore options for revenue generation from new and existing customers.
  7. Develops and executes plans for brand extension.
  8. Develops annual plans and budgets for the brand.
