We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Bank Reconciliation Specialist to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reconciling bank statements, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role is critical in maintaining financial accuracy and efficiency within the organization.

What to expect in your journey

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations to verify account balances.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company financial records.
• Investigate and document any variances, unauthorized transactions, or outstanding items.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure timely posting of transactions.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare reports and summaries related to cash flow and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
• Coordinate with banks and financial institutions to resolve reconciliation issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all reconciliation activities.

What you bring to the table

• 2 years of experience as a Bank Reconciliation Specialist in a global organization
• Bachelor of Commerce
