Job description

Qualification: Any Engineering Background, preferably B.E. /B. Tech in Mechanical/Metallurgical/Automobile Engineering (MBA in Marketing is a plus).

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically sound Marketing Professional with an engineering background to drive marketing initiatives in the Steel / Automotive Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for market research, customer relationship management, business development, and technical sales support.


Key Responsibilities:


Marketing & Business Development

  1. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote steel/automotive products.
  2. Identify and explore new market segments, industries, and potential clients.
  3. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and customer needs.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.

Sales & Technical Support

  1. Work closely with the sales team to provide technical insights to customers.
  2. Assist in product presentations and customer meetings for technical discussion.
  3. Support in RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes, proposal drafting, and pricing strategies.

Branding & Communication

  1. Develop marketing collaterals, brochures, and technical whitepapers.
  2. Online promotions and lead generation.
  3. Participate in industry expos, trade fairs, and networking events.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

  1. Maintain a strong customer pipeline and handle customer queries & complaints.
  2. Work with the R&D and production teams to align marketing efforts with product innovations.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  1. Strong technical knowledge of steel grades, alloys, automotive materials, and their applications.
  2. Must have Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  3. Ability to understand and translate customer requirements into business opportunities.
  4. Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital marketing trends.
  5. Willingness to travel for business meetings, exhibitions, and client visits, both domestic and international.

Preferred Experience:

  1. Experience in B2B marketing, industrial sales, or technical marketing in the steel or automotive industry.
  2. Understanding of supply chain, manufacturing processes, and quality standards in steel or automotive sectors.
