Assistant Manager Finance

We are seeking a Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in technical accounting, Assurance and Audit, preferably from Startups/Big 4 accounting firm. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in providing technical accounting expertise, review of financial statement of legal entities etc.

Position Responsibilities

1. Provide technical accounting guidance and support to internal stakeholders on complex accounting issues and transactions.
2. Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards, including the assessment of their impact on financial reporting.
3. Review financial statements and disclosures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the accounting implications of business decisions and initiatives.
5. Prepare technical accounting memos and documentation to support accounting conclusions and recommendations.
6. Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops to educate stakeholders on technical accounting topics and updates.
7. Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry practices and communicate their implications to relevant stakeholders.

Position Requirements

1. Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in technical accounting, Assurance and Audit, preferably from a Big 4 accounting firm or Startup.
2. Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
3. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
4. Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
