Area Business Manager - Vizag

JOB SUMMARY

Achieve product wise, rupee wise and territory wise sales on monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Provide leadership and direction to sales team to achieve sales objectives.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Achieve product wise, rupee wise and territory wise sales on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
2. Provide leadership and direction to sales team.
3. Monitor and implement activities critical for driving business, customer profiling, selection & coverage, opinion leader contacts, doctor meetings, school campaigns etc.
4. Provide support to achieve division margin by controlling DSOs – Trade and Institution outstanding, accuracy in forecasting and control on sales expenses primarily reduction of the expires and breakages claim.
5. Maintain contacts with key opinion leaders and important trade partners.
6. Send information to Head Office about competitive products, strategies and activities.
7. Improve manpower productivity through maintaining work and business reports discipline.
8. Redefine the customer list as per changing business needs and business returns.
9. Select and recruit talent. Develop, motivate and challenge team members to achieve top performance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education

Graduation in medicine, science, pharmaceuticals /nutrition. MBA/ PGDM would be a plus.

Minimum Work Experience

5 + years of experience in Sales with at least 2 years as Area Manager.

• Must have knowledge of market dynamics and demographics of area.
• Must have knowledge of Channel sales across different types of outlets.
• Networking and orientation towards customer (retailers/associations) management.
• Possess negotiation skills, people development, networking ability, and influencing ability.
