Application Lead

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team to deliver in-house projects.
2. Perform requirement analysis and oversee the implementation of architectures of project scope.
3. Provide customized reusable solutions of project, program, or operational scope.
4. Lead the application designs and be responsible for the solution outcome.
5. Develop high-quality and detailed designs.
6. Use coding standards and best practices to ensure quality deliverables.
7. Liaise with project stakeholders - Management, ITPM, BA, Developers, and business to ensure projects are on track.
8. Delegate tasks and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
9. Conduct unit testing using automated unit test frameworks and identify and address possible risks by conducting mitigation action planning.
10. Review the work of other developers with feedback for improvement.
11. Provide level 3 Support BAU once the projects are delivered to production.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 5+ years of IT work experience in software development.
2. Hands-on experience with Java and proficient in OOB.
3. Strong knowledge of SQL and database fundamentals.
4. Expert experience with Spring Framework.
5. Experience with testing methodologies that cover unit, integration, and system testing.
6. Ability to manage projects.
7. Experience with application testing protocols.
8. Excellent troubleshooting skills.
9. Good communication skills.
10. Good to have: Experience with Financial Services applications including high volume, real-time transaction processing systems.
11. Profound insight of core Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.) will be an added advantage.
12. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
