Overview:

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant for one of our clients who are into Robotic Systems. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience to support the finance department, should have basic knowledge of statutory (GST, TDS) and strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). The Accounts Assistant will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions, and maintain proper financial records.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day accounting functions, including data entry, ledger maintenance, and financial record-keeping.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts using Tally software.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of GST returns, ensuring compliance with GST regulations.
  • Maintain and update financial spreadsheets using MS Excel.
  • Draft routine correspondence and reports in MS Word and maintain organized records.
  • Support the team with email communication, calendar management, and other administrative tasks via MS Outlook.
  • Help with the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing tasks, assisting in financial audits and ensuring accuracy.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions to ensure audit readiness.
  • Assist in handling queries related to accounts, taxes, and invoicing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in an accounts or finance role.
  • 1 year experience in Tally software.
  • Basic understanding of GST (Goods and Services Tax) and its application.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications: Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.
  • A degree in Commerce (B.Com or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
