Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and 2 to 5 years experienced Accountant to manage the financial records, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, and provide accurate financial reports. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
3. Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
4. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
5. Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
6. Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
7. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
8. Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
9. Support payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
10. Prepare salary structures and perform CTC (Cost to Company) breakdowns for employees.
11. Monitor financial transactions and generate reports for management review.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books).
3. Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
4. Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
5. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
6. Good communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

1. Knowledge of salary processing and CTC structuring.
2. Experience in taxation and statutory compliance.
3. Working knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
4. Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
