Excellent Opportunity for Talent Acquisition @Kharagpur.

Our client is one of the fastest growing Business Conglomerates in the eastern region of India, pioneer in manufacturing of integrated Iron & Steel Products, Cement, Power and Ferro Alloys.

Must Have –

  • Minimum 9 years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Comfortable with Kharagpur location.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Job Posting and Sourcing:
    Create compelling job descriptions and post them on various job boards, company website, and social media platforms.
    Source candidates through a variety of channels including online job boards, social networks, and professional associations.
  2. Screening and Interviewing:
    Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
    Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
    Utilize various interviewing techniques to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  3. Candidate Experience Management:
    Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining communication throughout the recruitment process.
    Provide feedback to candidates and manage expectations regarding the hiring timeline.
  4. Relationship Building:
    Build and maintain relationships with universities, technical schools, and industry organizations to create a talent pipeline.
    Network with potential candidates through professional groups and industry events.
  5. Employer Branding:
    Promote the company as an employer of choice through various branding initiatives.
    Collaborate with marketing to develop employer branding materials and campaigns.
  6. Onboarding and Retention:
    Work with HR and department heads to develop and execute an effective onboarding process.
    Monitor new hires’ integration and work to enhance employee retention strategies.
  7. Metrics and Reporting:
    Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.
    Prepare and present recruitment reports to senior management.
  8. Compliance and Best Practices:
    Ensure recruitment processes comply with local labor laws and regulations.
    Stay updated on best practices in talent acquisition and implement process improvements.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: MBA/PGDBA/MSW/Degree in Business Administration/Social Science
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager or similar role, preferably in the manufacturing sector at least 10 years.
    Experience in managing the full recruitment cycle and using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
