Warehouse Specialist

A vacancy has arisen with Presidio for an IT Warehouse Specialist based at the Procurement Logistics Centre in Unit, Park West. Previous experience and knowledge of the logistics and warehouse industry is essential for this role. The Presidio warehouse is a fast-paced, dynamic operation that requires a dedicated and hard-working applicant who isn't averse to being ‘hands-on’. The IT Warehouse Specialist role will act as the main point of contact for specific customer-related projects.

Main Responsibilities:

• Take a customer-focused approach to managing IT related projects
• Ensure material and inventory transactions are accurate and fully completed within SLAs
• Ensure basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments, teams, and customers
• Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement measures to improve existing work procedures and practices
• Maintain high standards and quality on processes in all warehouse aspects
• Deploy images across multiple computers using imaging software or deployment tools
• Create and maintain detailed process documents on all activities
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management
• Knowledge of computer electronics, parts, and equipment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Keen to develop new skills and knowledge
• Proven experience in imaging, deployment, and configuration of computers
• Strong understanding of operating systems and software deployment technologies

Education and Experience:

• Certification in imaging and deployment technologies preferred
