Duties And Responsibilities

General

  1. To assist in the development and maintenance of the Hannon Transport Group Quality Management System for GDP / BRC / ISO9001 / ISO14001 standards for the transport of goods specific for each company under the Hannon Transport Group umbrella.
  2. To provide quality support to operation including review of quality related documents.
  3. Actively participate in and promote Quality Compliance activities and GDP / BRC / ISO9001 / ISO14001 improvement initiatives throughout Hannon Transport Group.

Quality Compliance Activities

  • Participate in quality investigations and ensure that effective CAPA actions are implemented.
  • Review and approve protocols and reports e.g. mapping studies.
  • Assist in the maintenance of Quality Systems e.g. Nvolve, SOP Guard.
  • Where required, write, approve or authorise SOPs as required. Review QA SOPs as required to ensure their continual effectiveness and compliance with the principles of GDP / BRC / ISO9001 / ISO14001.
  • Develop and deliver training on Quality topics i.e. SOPs, GDP, and Quality Systems required to colleagues throughout Hannon Transport Group.
  • Ensure awareness of Technical and Quality Agreements in place with customers and promote compliance with such agreements within logistical contracts.
  • Review and approval of Technical and Quality Agreements as required by the line Manager.
  • Promote and maintain a high standard of customer care.
  • Conduct internal audits and QA walkthroughs in order to verify compliance with the principles of GDP / BRC / ISO9001 / ISO14001 and Hannon Transport Group procedures. Ensure that audit findings are documented and corrective actions are agreed, documented and implemented in a timely manner.
  • Bring the outcome of continuous improvement quality activities such as internal audits, complaints, quality incidents and deviation investigation to the attention of Managers and agree effective preventative actions.
  • Participate and assist in external audits by customers and Regulatory Authorities as required.
  • Bring any regulatory updates of guidelines or regulations to the attention of the relevant department and QA management to ensure GDP / BRC / ISO9001 / ISO14001 compliance is maintained.
  • Perform audits of external contract service providers as required.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience Required

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Familiarity with local, national, and international compliance requirements.

Quality Management Systems (QMS):

  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Total Quality Management).
  • Experience with QMS software and tools for tracking compliance activities.

Audit and Inspection Protocols:

  • Ability to conduct internal and external audits, as well as perform inspections and assessments.
  • Knowledge of audit methodologies and processes for assessing compliance gaps.

Risk Management:

  • Understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Experience with identifying potential compliance risks and implementing corrective actions.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Proficiency in creating, maintaining, and managing compliance-related documents and records.
  • Ability to prepare and present compliance reports to management or regulatory authorities.
