Job Description:

Our client, one of the world's most recognisable businesses, is looking to add to their rapidly growing production team in Dublin.

This is an ideal role for an ambitious self-starter who has a background in production or manufacturing and is keen to advance their career at the pinnacle of the medical technology industry. In this position, you will be asked to lead a highly skilled team while liaising with site senior leadership to ensure best-in-class product quality and site efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Be accountable for all aspects of the team's performance, working with support functions to ensure that customer needs are met at all times.
2. Implement schedules, methods, and processes; allocate manpower and resources; identify problems and provide solutions and improvements in their respective processes.

Goals:

1. Focus on multi-skilling and cross-training of the team.
2. Assist in setting and achieving team objectives; identify, execute, and manage training and development needs.
3. Through positive leadership, serve as a role model for the team.
4. Meet production schedules and customer scheduled delivery dates.
5. Strive for continuous improvement.
6. Collaborate closely with other team leaders to maintain consistent standards.

Experience:

1. 2-5 years in a similar manufacturing environment.
2. Leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as planning and problem-solving skills, are required.
3. Knowledge and experience of Materials/Inventory planning systems is essential.
