Petcare Advisor/Sales Associate

Petmania is currently recruiting for a part-time Sales Associate for our Portlaoise store. The ideal candidate will be passionate about retail and sales and be willing and eager to make their mark in the store. In addition to this, it is an advantage if you are currently studying or recently qualified in Animal Care to QQI level 5 or 6.

We currently have a 24-32 hr contract available - please note you must be available midweek as well as weekends.

The main tasks you will be responsible for are:

• Sales, sales, sales - we are retailers after all.
• The care and maintenance of the store's fish tanks.
• Providing excellent customer care to our valued customers, particularly our aquatics customers.
• Caring for the animals in store.
• General retail duties - merchandising, store housekeeping, price and gap checks, etc.
