Senior Recruitment Consultant - Specialist in Company Secretarial / Legal / Compliance and Investment Mgt roles. Ireland/Luxembourg/London

Financial Controller | 12 month Contract | Remote / Hybrid (Dublin / Kilkenny)

We’re looking for a driven and experienced Financial Controller to join a leading financial services provider on a contract basis in Kilkenny. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in financial reporting, controls, and strategic insights within a growing business. This role can be remote or hybrid based out of Dublin or Kilkenny.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
2. Maintain and enhance financial controls, including balance sheet reconciliations.
3. Provide insightful management information to support decision-making.
4. Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements and regulatory reporting.
5. Manage the interim and year-end audit process.
6. Oversee tax compliance, including direct and indirect tax returns.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
2. 5+ years’ experience in accounting, must have financial services experience.
3. Strong technical expertise in accounting, tax, and financial reporting.
4. Advanced Excel skills (experience with 3e, SAP Concur, Power BI is a plus).
5. Detail-oriented leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
