Project Nature (T26): On-going Support of the Computerised Social Security System II (CSSS-II) for the Social Welfare Department

Duties:
This officer will be required to provide on-going support to the maintenance and enhancements of the CSSS-II which is a mission critical system. The duties include:

1. To take part in the application and system enhancements of the Management Information Services (MIS) of CSSS-II;
2. To implement the data transformation for the enhancements of MIS;
3. To implement the enhancement of MIS using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE);
4. To prepare and conduct system testing and training;
5. To produce project documents and devise operating procedures;
6. To assure the quality of project deliverables;
7. To supervise Analyst Programmers to perform program development and system testing;
8. To perform on-call support duty of CSSS-II MIS functions.

Requirements:
(1) Experience in SA&D and system implementation of management information system;
(2) Hands-on experience in JAVA programming and SQL;
(3) Experience in data warehouse system, business intelligent software, such as OBIEE and Cognos, and DB2 are preferred;
(4) Experience in social security service system is preferred;
(5) Work experience with/in the government is required;

Technical Skills:
- At least 2 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV);
- At least 2 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL);
- 1 year's experience in business intelligence/data mining (BDM) is an advantage;
- 1 year's experience in DB2 (DB2) is an advantage;
- 1 year's experience in Data Warehouse (DWH) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skill:
- At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
