Job description

Donnybrook Fair Dundrum are looking for a full-time Retail Operations Controller to join their team on site.

This role is on site with no option for remote work. You will be required to be available to work 5 days out of 7 across the week.

Please note: This is a Specific Purpose contract.

The successful candidate is required to develop a deep understanding of the functions within our store and will own accountability for ensuring that all assigned operational activities are delivered efficiently and with the highest level of accuracy.

Main duties will include:

  • Weekly invoice check, PO related tasks and first point of contact for DF Internal Controller
  • Entering daily invoices into the back-office system accurately & efficiently
  • Support the HACCP process & requirements in store
  • Supporting Ops Manager & Snr. Management team with tasks and reporting daily/weekly on store KPIs
  • Food Safety Administrative support
  • Ensure compliance with Cash office procedures
  • Partner with HR department regarding colleague onboarding, filling, holiday bookings & balances, ER, Compliance & other HR related tasks
  • Ensure that colleague mandatory training is up to date and compliant including MLA
  • Organizing meetings, staff training, and other events, including minute taking for meetings as required
  • Ordering stationery & colleague PPE (safety shoes, hair nets, etc.)
  • First point of contact for site managers & employees
  • Dealing with daily correspondence, emails & other queries
  • Update & maintain notice boards in all areas of the site

The ideal candidate will have/be:

What We're Looking For...

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience as administrator in a fast-paced business
  • Organised and analytical approach to tasks and ability to prioritise
  • Must be a good communicator and work well within the team
  • Experience of problem-solving and being solution-focused
  • Experience of stakeholder management
  • Advanced user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with report writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong ethics and reliability, with discretion and confidentiality
