Workshop Manager (Based in Indonesia)

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Workshop Manager to lead a dynamic team of 130 personnel, managing a diverse range of equipment, automotives and machinery. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in the maintenance, services, repair and recondition of various types of machines and vehicles, ensuring the efficient and seamless operation of our workshop.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily operations of the workshop.
2. Manage and supervise mechanics, technicians, and support staff.
3. Ensure all repairs, maintenance, and servicing meet quality and safety requirements.
4. Plan and allocate work schedules efficiently.
5. Monitor inventory, order parts and supplies as needed.
6. Maintain accurate records of repairs, costs and manage the workshop budget.
7. Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
8. Lead and train the team to enhance performance and technical expertise.

Oversee the maintenance, repair and servicing of:

• Heavy Equipment (Excavators, Bulldozers, Motor Graders, etc.)
• Vehicles (Land Cruiser, Fortuner, Hilux, Ambulance, Firefighting Trucks, Innova, etc.)
• Light Machinery (Gingga 3 wheelers, Mining Buckets, Water Pumps, Pulverizer, etc.)

Requirements:

• Proven experience in workshop management, dealing in heavy equipment, agricultural machinery and an automotive repair environment. Preferably as a Workshop Manager, Supervisor, or Senior Mechanic.
• Certification or relevant qualification in relevant fields is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Leadership and team management skills to oversee a large workforce.
• Ability to manage budgets, procurement and workshop operations efficiently.
