Position Overview:

Is your ambition to become an expert in web development, specializing in WordPress solutions for international projects? Then, we at Incentro have a challenge for you!

As a Web Developer at Incentro, you will primarily focus on a key client project involving extensive WordPress Multisite development. You'll be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining complex WordPress environments, including custom themes and plugins tailored for a Multisite network. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of a related Angular-based administrative dashboard. You will work closely with the client and your development (Scrum) team to deliver robust and scalable web solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress themes and plugins, specifically within a Multisite context.
• Managing and troubleshooting complex WordPress Multisite installations.
• Contributing to the development and maintenance of an Angular admin interface connected to the WordPress backend.
• Collaborating with backend developers, designers, and the client to implement required features.
• Ensuring high performance, availability, and security of the WordPress sites.
• Implementing responsive designs (HTML/CSS) based on UI/UX specifications.
• Staying updated with best practices in WordPress development, security, and the broader PHP ecosystem.
• Bringing new views and ideas to the table – don’t be afraid to challenge the way we are doing things if you know a better way!

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant web development experience; talented fresh graduates with demonstrable WordPress skills are welcome to apply.
• Strong proficiency in PHP is essential.
• Proven experience in WordPress development: theme development from scratch, plugin customization/development, understanding of hooks, filters, and the WordPress API.
• Crucial: Demonstrable experience working with WordPress Multisite.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript; experience with a modern framework like Angular is a significant plus (for the admin dashboard).
• Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Familiarity with MySQL databases and interacting with them via WordPress functions.
• You can navigate the terminal and git for version control.
• Experience with package managers like NPM is beneficial.
• Experience consuming REST APIs.
• You know what Agile and Scrum are and enjoy working in a Scrum team.
• Fluency in English is a must (both written and spoken).
