Oversee the operational activities of the weighbridge to achieve planned targets and objectives in the safest, most effective, and efficient manner.
Ensure all vehicle weighing processes run smoothly and comply with technical procedures and safety regulations, including monitoring vehicle loads to prevent exceeding permissible weight limits (ODOL compliance).
Supervise and coordinate the performance of weighbridge operators to ensure tasks are executed efficiently.
Collect daily weighing data and prepare periodic reports (per shift) detailing operational activities, submitting these reports to superiors or management.
Address technical or administrative issues arising during the weighing process, providing swift and accurate solutions. This includes compiling a list of operational needs for the weighbridge (e.g., printers, computers, ink, SJB paper, etc.).
Ensure the weighbridge and its supporting equipment remain in optimal condition by conducting routine inspections (P2H) and coordinating periodic maintenance and cleaning of the weighbridge.
Communicate effectively with the Logistics Team, ROM Operations, transport companies, and other stakeholders regarding weighing policies and regulations.
Manage the allocation of weighbridge services per route based on coordination with the ROM Operations Team and Coal Logistics.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mining, Transportation Logistics, or Statistical Science.
Minimum of 2 years working in the field of transportation or coal weighing operations (e.g., weighbridge, ROM, stockpile, or coal logistics).
Have expertise in Truck Management and Weighbridge Management.
Proficiency in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Management.
