Web Developer

Responsibilities

1. Develop, modify, and optimize websites using WordPress, Shopify, Magento, and other CMS platforms.
2. Create custom themes and plugins based on project requirements.
3. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, content teams, and marketers to enhance website functionality and user experience.
4. Communicate effectively with project managers to provide solutions for website-related issues.
5. Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external tools.
6. Troubleshoot and debug errors or performance issues.
7. Manage and configure cloud-based web servers to ensure uptime, scalability, and security.

Requirements

1. Strong ability to work independently while effectively collaborating in a team.
2. Expertise in HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
3. Experience in developing custom themes and plugins for WordPress, Shopify (Liquid), or Magento.
4. Proficiency in REST API / GraphQL integrations.
5. Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
6. Ability to handle high-volume workloads within tight deadlines.

Is a Plus If

1. Experience with Headless CMS (Strapi, Contentful, etc.).
2. Knowledge of React.js, Vue.js, or modern JavaScript frameworks.
3. Understanding of Core Web Vitals and site performance optimization techniques.
4. Hands-on experience in scaling high-traffic websites and load balancing.
