Warehouse Supervisor

We are currently seeking a highly organized and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Coal Mining.
Our client is a private company with headquarters in India, operating in the mining industry, particularly coal mining, located in Kutai Barat, East Kalimantan, spread over a 5000 Ha concession area, operational since April 2010.

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and materials. You will be a key member of our team, working closely with warehouse staff, management, and clients to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and manage a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
2. Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods
3. Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of orders
4. Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
5. Implement and improve warehouse procedures and processes to increase efficiency and productivity
6. Communicate and collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of goods
7. Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure inventory accuracy
8. Prepare and maintain reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, productivity, and shipping and receiving records
9. Resolve any issues or discrepancies with shipments, inventory, or staff performance in a timely and professional manner
10. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is an asset
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a warehouse or distribution center environment
3. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping processes
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
6. Proficient in using warehouse management software and other computer programs
7. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
