Warehouse Non Finished Goods Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Non Finished Goods Supervisor to join our team at PT Napan Persada in Palembang, South Sumatera. This is a contract role, offering the opportunity to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse for non-finished goods. As the Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our warehousing and distribution activities.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of non-finished goods within the warehouse
2. Manage and coordinate the work of the warehouse team, including delegating tasks and monitoring performance
3. Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels and timely order fulfilment
4. Liaise with production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure the smooth flow of goods through the supply chain
5. Identify and resolve any operational issues or bottlenecks in the warehouse
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
7. Continuously look for ways to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader role within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
2. Experience in handling spare parts and chemical materials
3. Strong understanding of warehouse management principles, including inventory control, materials handling, and distribution
4. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
5. Proficient in using warehouse management software and other relevant technologies
6. Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
7. Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
8. Must be willing to be based in Palembang
