Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management: Supervise and train warehouse staff. Schedule work assignments and ensure completion of tasks. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed. Implement effective inventory management practices. Perform regular inventory audits.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Develop and maintain safety protocols and training programs. Investigate accidents and implement corrective measures.
Operational Efficiency: Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for improvement. Establish and maintain efficient shipping and receiving practices. Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and returns. Prepare regular reports for management on warehouse performance.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics. Experience with warehouse management software and inventory systems. Experience in Manufacture/Heavy Equipment Company.
Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
