Role Overview:The Vice President of People will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the firm's human resources strategy. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker who can align the HR function with our business goals, foster a positive workplace culture, and support the growth and development of our team. The VP of People will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with the firm's business objectives.
    • Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on all HR matters.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management:
    • Lead the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
    • Implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly.
    • Develop and oversee performance management systems to drive employee performance and development.
  • Employee Engagement and Culture:
    • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
    • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
    • Develop and maintain programs to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Organizational Development:
    • Identify and address organizational development needs.
    • Implement training and development programs to support employee growth.
    • Lead succession planning efforts to ensure leadership continuity.
  • HR Operations:
    • Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and compliance.
    • Ensure the firms policies and practices comply with local labor laws and regulations.
    • Implement and manage HR technology solutions to improve efficiency and data management.
  • Compensation and Benefits:
    • Develop competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
    • Regularly review and update compensation structures to ensure market competitiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in a high-growth environment, preferably within the venture capital, private equity, or startup sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives.
  • Experience with HR technologies and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
