Job Description
Reporting to the country manager, you will be responsible to lead the whole marketing activities in Indonesia, both online and offline. Being part of the team, you are required to design and develop company strategies for marketing and managing the execution. Other responsibilities include:
- Leading and inspiring the marketing team and collaborating with cross-functional leaders (local and global) to align marketing initiatives with business goals
- Developing and implementing the overall marketing strategy in alignment with the company's vision and business goals.
- Providing leadership in all aspects of marketing, including brand management, product marketing, digital marketing, communications, event management and customer engagement.
- Developing KPI oriented campaigns with the team.
- Leveraging data and analytics to drive insights.
- Planning and executing all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), and display advertising campaigns.
- Supporting brand development by bringing local insights.
- Ensuring consistency of brand voice across all marketing channels, including advertising, digital content, social media, and customer touchpoints.
- Executing a strong internal and external communications with all stakeholders to develop clear market positioning.
- Directing digital marketing development, communication, media, digital, social media campaign, lead generation, revenue retention and growth.
- Managing the marketing budget and overseeing potential regional marketing operations.
- Conducting market research to understand customer needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends.
- Working closely with senior leadership, including Sales, Support, Technical and Operations, to align marketing strategies with business priorities.
- Developing and optimising customer journeys and touchpoints to increase engagement and loyalty.
The Successful Applicant
Our client is looking for a high caliber individual with an impressive track record in all of marketing aspects, and someone with an entrepreneur spirit. Other requirements include:
- At least 12 years of working management experience in the brand and digital marketing, with MNC background, and it will be a plus if you have worked in a start-up setting.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is a must; Master degree or MBA from a top tier business school are optional.
- Not title minded, humble, low profile and willing to roll up his/her sleeves.
- You might be required to travel frequently across Indonesia.
- Strong leadership with excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong ability to set clear measurable objectives, delegate responsibilities, assess, recognise and reward performance.
- Drive and hunger to achieve results; Independent, self-starter and initiative, and the ability to work in fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a great personality and ability to make decisions.
- Excellent business acumen and willingness to be hands-on, and work within tight deadlines.
- High commitment, motivation, agile and flexible.
- Strategic thinker with a strong vision for the future of marketing.
