Role Purpose:
Provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of the Business Unit assigned at OnlinePajak as well as communicate with employees, stakeholders, and customers to ensure our company’s technologies are used appropriately.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals.
2. Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage.
3. Help departments use technology profitably.
4. Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.
5. Build quality assurance and data protection processes.
6. Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance.
7. Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.
8. Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors.

Requirements:

1. Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
2. Minimum 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role (Technical Lead / Engineering Manager / Head of Engineering).
3. Expertise in backend development using Javascript and/or Java, with a deep understanding of system design, distributed systems, and backend scalability.
4. Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch).
5. Proficiency in Cloud Infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
6. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
7. Strong knowledge of software development best practices, observability (monitoring, logging, alerting), and performance optimization.
8. Familiarity with microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and API design best practices.
9. Ability to balance technical depth with business impact, driving innovation while ensuring operational stability.
10. A problem-solver with a growth mindset, who actively seeks feedback and continuously improves.
