VISUAL ART TEACHER

Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons that use a wide variety of art mediums and techniques.
• Cultivate the creative abilities of students across multiple grade levels and promote appreciation for visual arts.
• Making assessment and evaluation of student progress.
• Contribute to co-curricular activities or other school activities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or related field.
• Has working experience in teaching art across multiple grade levels (elementary-middle school) in international or cross-cultural settings.
• Strong knowledge of various art mediums, techniques, and art history.
• Effective classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Ability to organise and lead school events, such as showcasing student work, Annual Fine Art Fair.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Converse effectively in English.
• Flexible, patient, well-organized and pleasant personality.

Established in 2001, Sekolah Bina Gita Gemilang (SBGG) is an independent, co-educational national school which provides a blend of National & International curriculum. In compliance with Government Regulations, the legal status of SBGG has been adjusted to an SPK (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama) school & has become part of Cambridge International School since 2015, offering education levels from preschool to junior high.
