Video Editor

Responsibilities:

• Editing video footage on TikTok & Instagram in a way that is invisible to the audience.
• Taking a brief to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications.
• Improving and correcting lighting, coloring, and faulty footage.
• Reviewing shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity.
• Consult with stakeholders from production to the post-production process.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications: Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Video Editor (fresh graduates with internship or freelance experience are welcome to apply).
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Understanding of TikTok and its algorithm.
• Experience in editing footage or familiarity with beauty products for TikTok and Instagram is an advantage.
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages.
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing for TikTok and Instagram.
• Creative mindset with strong storytelling skills.
• Available to join immediately and willing to work from the office (Mega Kuningan, South Jakarta).
