Video Editor

Responsibilities:

1. Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring seamless transitions, proper pacing, and engaging storytelling.
2. Collaborate with the creative team, including producers, directors, and graphic designers, to meet project objectives.
3. Add sound effects, voiceovers, music, and special effects to enhance video quality.
4. Review scripts, shot lists, and raw footage to determine editing requirements.
5. Manage and organize video assets and ensure backups of all projects.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and software in video editing and production.
7. Maintain brand consistency across all video content.
8. Optimize videos for different platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio of past work.
2. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
3. Knowledge of motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
4. Familiarity with video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
5. Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
6. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
8. Knowledge of color grading and audio editing is preferred.
