We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, IT Application and Development to lead our IT initiatives. This critical role demands a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions. You will be responsible for overseeing IT projects, ensuring system resilience, managing incident response and root cause analysis, and maintaining IT compliance and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives.
• Oversee the full IT application and development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT team.

Project Management:

• Lead and manage complex IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project scope, prioritize initiatives, and manage expectations.
• Utilize effective project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to optimize project outcomes.

System Resilience and Incident Management:

• Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and mitigate potential system failures.
• Develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
• Lead incident response teams to quickly resolve IT issues and minimize business impact.
• Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify and address underlying problems.

IT Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Implement effective risk management practices to identify, assess, and mitigate IT risks.
• Work with IT security to conduct regular vulnerability assessments.
• Develop and maintain strong IT governance frameworks.

Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with business users, understanding their needs and translating them into effective IT solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with Group IT and third-party vendors to leverage shared services and optimize resource utilization.
• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure delivery of quality services.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Advanced degree (e.g., Master's, MBA) preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on application development and project management.
• Proven track record of leading successful IT projects and delivering innovative solutions.
• Deep understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong technical skills, including knowledge of programming languages, databases, and cloud technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing teams and fostering a positive work environment.
