Job Description:

• Lead and manage the accounting, finance, and tax teams to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s overall business objectives.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and implement financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, or other relevant accounting standards.
• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies.
• Develop and oversee the company’s tax strategy to optimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
• Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and capital structure.
• Manage banking relationships, financing activities, and investment strategies.
• Develop and implement strategies for risk management and insurance.
• Evaluate potential M&A opportunities, including due diligence, valuation, and integration.
• Lead financial aspects of M&A transactions, including negotiations and structuring.
• Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and regulatory bodies.
• Serve as a key point of contact for financial matters with external stakeholders.
• Ensure the company’s financial practices are in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and monitor risk management policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  - Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or similar certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Experience in a similar VP role or in a public company environment is preferred.
• Extensive experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to develop and mentor a high-performing team.
• Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
