Summary

EBC Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Translator & Office Administrator to join our team in Jakarta. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth office operations and effective communication between our teams, clients, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have strong language skills, excellent administrative abilities, and a proactive mindset to support the team in various capacities.

This is a full-time onsite role that will be offered on a contractor basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translation: Translate written and verbal communication between Mandarin and Indonesian, ensuring accuracy and clarity in both languages. Provide translations for internal documents, business correspondence, meetings, and reports as needed.
  • Office Administration:
    • Manage attendance and track employee working hours.
    • Take meeting minutes during key business meetings and distribute them to relevant stakeholders.
    • Assist in implementing supervision and other administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Business Travel Support:
    • Be willing to travel around Indonesia for business trips as needed to support various operational tasks and events.
  • General Support: Provide administrative assistance to management and other team members in various projects and tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in both Mandarin and Indonesian (written and spoken).
  • Additional English Language skills is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in office administration, preferably in a financial services or corporate environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel within Indonesia for business-related tasks.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
