Translator (Indo-Chinese)

Job Responsibilities:

• Interpretation services: Provide translation services for meetings and other activities to ensure smooth communication between both parties.
• Document Translation: Responsible for translating all kinds of documents (e.g. contracts, reports, technical documents, etc.) from the source language into the target language to ensure accurate and smooth translation.
• Cultural adaptation: Understand and convey the cultural background of both parties to ensure that the translated content meets the cultural habits of the target audience.
• Collaborative Communication: Communicate with project team members, clients, and other related parties to understand project needs and provide professional advice.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above, preferably in translation, linguistics, international relations, or other related fields.
• Language proficiency: fluent in two languages (Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Work experience: No limitation; relevant translation work experience is preferred. Familiarity with specific industries (e.g. legal, technical, medical, etc.) translation is a plus.
• Can adapt to short-term business trips in China.
• Good communication skills and teamwork spirit, able to work efficiently under pressure.
• Attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, and time management skills.

Job Location:

• Must be willing to work on-site in Sei Mangkei, Medan, Indonesia.
