Translator

We are seeking a highly skilled Translator proficient in Mandarin and Indonesian, with a Master’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to translate and interpret content with precision, maintaining the nuances and meaning of the original text. While proficiency in English is a plus, the primary focus will be on Mandarin and Indonesian translations. This role involves translating written documents, marketing materials, and articles, as well as providing oral interpretation between Mandarin and Indonesian to ensure clear and effective communication across languages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate written documents, including reports, articles, marketing materials, legal texts, and others, between Mandarin and Indonesian.
• Ensure accurate, clear, and consistent translations while preserving the original meaning, style, and tone.
• Provide interpretation services for meetings, conferences, and other verbal communications, ensuring clarity and accuracy in real-time communication.
• Edit and proofread translations for grammar, spelling, and consistency.
• Research specialized terminology to ensure accurate and contextually appropriate translations.
• Collaborate with team members, including project managers and subject matter experts, to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality translations.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics when handling sensitive information.
• Continuously improve translation skills through professional development and training.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and Indonesian, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in translation or interpretation (Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply).
• A strong understanding of cultural differences, idiomatic expressions, and regional variations in Mandarin and Indonesian.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent research skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
