Textile Designer

Our client is a multi-business global enterprise with diversified business interests in various sectors such as FMCG, textiles, manufacturing, trading and distribution, real estate, hotels, banking, import/export, E-Commerce, and movie production and recreation parks across Indonesia, South East Asia, India, Africa, Europe, Middle East, and Australia. The company started as a carpet retail shop in 1968 in Surabaya, Indonesia and has now grown to become Indonesia's and one of Southeast Asia's largest carpet and flooring manufacturing and trading companies.

Responsibilities:

• Create designs based on mood boards and determine/pay attention to the chosen concept for the upcoming season.
• Create original designs for brands by paying attention to the type of fabric to be used.

Qualifications:

• Able to create motifs and patterns using Corel Draw, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
• Preferably have experience in the batik/textile printing industry for at least a year.
