The Opportunity:

Support completion of testing activities efficiently and cost-effectively, and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Test product and system and validate material to ensure that these follow prescribed technical specifications.

How you’ll make an impact:

• You will maintain HSE standards in production line, support test engineers with product and system testing, prepare standard test records, and complete test documentation. Follow work plans and cost estimates for work in your area of responsibility, ensuring quality and timely implementation within targeted costs.

• You will support risk assessment (ABRA) to assure safe systems of work and take appropriate actions, assist with customer or official contacts and communication pertaining to test assignments or meetings, using standard processes and tools, and maintain/calibrate the tools in a timely manner.

• You will deliver results – prioritize, act, achieve results, and maintain a safe orientation. Define your own plan within the larger strategy and contribute to strategy beyond your own area in a safe manner, collaborating by listening, valuing, and engaging.

• You will act responsibly – demonstrate integrity, transparency, safety, teamwork, and collaboration. Actively facilitate teamwork and collaboration across functions.

• You will prioritize safety and follow Life Saving Rules as License to Operate, conduct and lead the FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests) with/without customer inspections.

• You will maintain test equipment (HV testing transformer, gas filling station, electrical and mechanical measurement equipment, instruments, and infrastructure) and ensure proper continuous operation.

• You will support the continuous improvement process by providing valuable feedback whenever possible. You shall also carry out any task assigned by management necessary to fulfill job requirements.

Your background:

• Minimum background of at least a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience.

• Responsible for performing various testing for HV products (AIS & GIS). Duties usually consist of making measurements, performing several routine quantitative and qualitative analytical tests, performing calculations and determinations on tests, and evaluating product characteristics.

• Familiar with the use of standard and industry-specific specialized HV equipment. Analyze test results and experiments to ensure conformity.

• Maintain records of analysis and tests. An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of the job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

• Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.

• Proficiency in English communication.
