Caterpillar currently has an opportunity for a Territory Sales Manager based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The position will be the sales representative of MWM brand in Indonesia.

What You Will Do:

  1. Full ownership of MWM business (and extended MWM portfolio) in the region, both from new engines sales and aftermarket service perspective.
  2. Business Development of new customers in territory through direct and indirect channels, focusing on PLN, Pertamina, and industrial applications.
  3. Close collaboration with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) and Engineering FEED companies.
  4. Support existing customers in the region through direct and indirect channels.
  5. Continuous development of the MWM presence in the assigned regions.
  6. Supervision of preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
  7. Management and coordination of technical and commercial proposal negotiation.
  8. Ensuring a high level of forecasting accuracy for incoming orders.

What You Have:

Industry Knowledge in Gas Energy Sector:

  1. Specialization in mechanical engineering/industrial engineering/electrical engineering or equivalent.
  2. Extensive knowledge of Industrial customers in assigned region.

Customer Focus and Business Development:

  1. Proven experience in sales and/or project management in industrial environments.
  2. Strong business sense and acumen.

Effective Communications:

  1. Proficiency in fluent English language is a must.
  2. Proficiency in local language, Bahasa Indonesia, will be a plus.
  3. Professional and confident appearance to represent the company.

Relationship Management:

  1. Provides effective responses to customers’ requests and builds strong relationships.
  2. High level of initiative, open-mindedness, and intercultural curiosity.

Additional Info:

This role requires domestic and international travelling of between 50% to 75% of the time.
