Job description

The position(s) is/are based in South Sumatra, one of the sales locations of PT Albaugh Agro Indonesia, while Albaugh Asia Pacific Limited is the regional headquarters of the China Asia Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to accelerate growth, improve margins, and create value in line with company goals and objectives.
  2. Define and execute go-to-market strategies, distribution customer selection, and customer partnership programs to ensure strong and continued market coverage.
  3. Develop and implement product positioning and pricing strategies to capture market share and provide distribution support for the full range of products.
  4. Acquire new customers and maintain profitable partnerships with new and existing customers.
  5. Monitor sales development and forecasts, perform analysis, and prepare corrective actions.
  6. Report on sales development and key performance indicators.
  7. Lead and manage monthly sales forecasting, an annual 5-year sales plan, and marketing plan.
  8. Select, challenge, and develop the organization in a responsible area.
  9. Define roles and responsibilities, objectives, key performance indicators, and key initiatives for the responsible area, and ensure reporting by the team and to management.
  10. Manage the territory sales budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  11. Identify and pursue new market segments and channels for the products.
  12. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional activities and campaigns.
  13. Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  14. Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to ensure the team meets and exceeds sales goals.
  15. Any ad hoc tasks as requested by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

  1. University Degree (preferably Agronomic Engineer or any subject related to agronomy).
  2. Have a good track record in sales.
  3. 60% to 70% of previous work experience should be direct sales-related.
  4. Must have a solid knowledge of sales techniques.
  5. 8 to 15 years of work experience in the Agrochemical business.
  6. Having experience in preparing forecasting and collections is preferred.
