Technical Support Representative – Global Smartphone Brand

Description

We are seeking a Technical Support Representative to join one of the world’s leading smartphone brands. In this role, you will support and empower a global network of customer service and technical agents, ensuring consistent service excellence across markets. You will serve as the technical bridge between headquarters and local teams, helping implement service protocols, resolve complex product issues, and elevate customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver technical training and ongoing support to agents and customer service teams in line with HQ standards.
  2. Assist in the localization and rollout of technical support documents, tools, and procedures.
  3. Evaluate technical skill levels of local support teams, identifying gaps and offering improvement strategies.
  4. Coordinate with cross-functional departments to address technical product concerns and resolve escalated customer issues.
  5. Ensure timely and accurate response to technical inquiries, helping maintain service excellence in global branches.

Profile

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent 3+ years of industry experience will also be considered.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support or a similar role, preferably in the consumer electronics or smartphone industry.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of simplifying technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  4. Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  5. Familiarity with customer service systems, smartphone OS platforms, or diagnostic tools is a plus.
