Technical Expert in Asia and Oceania (W/M)

As of our fast growth, we are expanding our technical team in the APAC region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading poultry breeding company as a Technical Support Specialist for Asia and Oceania.

You will be part of our international team of technical poultry experts. In this role, you will report to the Global Technical Director and will have a dotted reporting line to the Asia & Oceania Area Director.

Your main tasks include:

1. Provide in-depth technical support and advice to our distributors in Asia and Oceania.
2. Ensure that our genetic breeds reveal their full genetic potential in our customers’ barns and hatcheries.
3. Support large commercial egg producers with technical advice and the latest insights on egg production to develop overall customer satisfaction and brand awareness.
4. Provide technical support to our own production facilities (Indonesia, New Zealand, and in the future Japan) to ensure our breeder flocks are producing the highest quality DOCs.
5. Work closely with the Country Managers to support the realization of their account plans.
6. Provide data-driven feedback on our breed portfolio to the internal organization.
7. Be involved in technical meetings, both with our clients and with the internal organization.
8. Travel within the APAC region, close to 50% of your time, and to Europe approximately 2 times a year.
9. Represent the company at customer events, trade fairs, and poultry shows in the APAC region.
