A bachelor degree or equivalent in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
Teaching certification (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent international certifications).
Preferably 1–3 years of teaching English as a foreign or second language.
Experience teaching various age groups (children, teenagers, and adults) and proficiency levels (beginner to advanced).
Experience preparing students for standardized language exams like IELTS, TOEFL, or Cambridge tests is a plus.
Excellent English writing, grammar and speaking (min. B2 CEFR Level).
IELTS min. Band 5.5 (for Junior), Band 6.5 (for Middle) and Band 7.5 (for Senior).
Competence with language teaching tools and platforms, such as Zoom, Google Classroom, or other Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Ability to incorporate multimedia and digital resources into lessons.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and adapt lesson plans, activities, and teaching materials to align with the school’s curriculum.
Assess students’ language abilities and provide individualised feedback and recommendations to help students achieve their learning goals.
Classroom management to encourage active participation and foster a positive attitude.
Conduct mock exams and provide targeted practice to enhance students’ confidence and performance.
Participate in teacher training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance teaching skills and stay informed about best practices in language education.
Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, teaching strategies, and classroom insights.
Offer additional support to students struggling with specific language skills.
Build rapport with students to foster trust and motivation in their language-learning journey.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and lesson plans.
Assist with school activities, events, and promotional initiatives such as open days or workshops.
