Job Overview:

As a Teacher Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Hospitality Specialist in delivering training programs and preparing materials for restaurant teams. This position is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates who are organized, eager to learn, and passionate about contributing to the development of staff and operations in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing training materials, including manuals, handouts, visual aids, and other resources.
  • Provide administrative support during training sessions, including coordinating schedules, tracking attendance, and distributing materials.
  • Support the Hospitality Specialist in conducting training sessions in both English and Indonesian.
  • Manage and organize training records, ensuring accurate documentation of staff progress and certifications.
  • Coordinate logistics for training programs, including booking venues, arranging travel for trainers, and ensuring necessary equipment is available.
  • Compile feedback from training sessions and assist in evaluating the effectiveness of programs.
  • Collaborate with restaurant managers and staff to gather insights on training needs and provide relevant input for program updates.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and assist in researching new training techniques or materials to enhance programs.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, English, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; prior experience in an administrative or support role is a plus.
  • Proficiency in both English and Indonesian.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other tools for creating training materials.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and training processes is an advantage but not required.
  • Willingness to travel to restaurant locations as needed.
