About the role

This manager role is an integral part of the Indonesia management team and is responsible for a diverse scope of HR duties, primarily in talent acquisition, talent management, succession planning, diversity & inclusion, employee culture & engagement, learning & development, performance management, and HR process & systems management functional areas. In addition, this manager manages a team consisting of HR analyst(s) and trainees; and is also responsible for managing relationships with HR for JV(s) in the country.

Talent Acquisition, Talent Management & Succession Planning

  • Plan, develop and implement and communicate Employer Branding, Employee Value Proposition (EVP), Recruitment Sourcing, Social Media presence, and partnership with schools and vendors for the country.
  • Develop a talent pipeline and expert candidates within the country. This role will nurture and develop talents through establishing a country talent pool and facilitate Talent Reviews and Succession Plans.
  • Carry out regional talent management strategy into the country to ensure the company can recruit, retain, and develop the most talented people.
  • Enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice in the country through ongoing innovation, building the employer brand, value proposition, and talent acquisition capability.

Diversity & Inclusion

  • This role will be in charge of driving the company's diversity agenda through pulse checks, sponsorship of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and other activities to foster an environment of diversity within the country.
  • Carrying out the country diversity and inclusion strategy and associated initiatives, contributing to the creation of conditions for a diverse workforce and inclusive culture that engages and enables employees.

Employee Culture & Engagement

  • This role will be responsible for conducting annual employee surveys and ensuring actions are taken and monitored within the country.

Learning & Development

  • Plan, develop and implement country L&D and talent development programs, training catalogue, and coaching engagements.
  • Deploy regional catalogue into the country whilst creating country-specific programs.

Performance Management

  • This role will oversee the country performance management cycle while ensuring equity through calibration sessions and providing clear criteria and guidance to employees and managers.

HR Process & Systems Management

  • This role will be in charge of the country implementation of a global HRIS System enabling the HR organization to further expand global HR processes such as Talent Management and Performance Management, while allowing reporting of global and regional and country metrics and KPIs.

HR Operations (back-up)

  • As a backup for recruitment, payroll, statutory social security, tax deductions, annual income tax returns, medical program, pension program, work visa, dependent schooling, and housing for Indonesia expats and local employees.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university. A plus if majoring in Human Resource Management / Industrial Psychology / Organizational Development.

Language

  • Proficient in English and Indonesian.

Experience

  • Essential 6-10 years' experience.
  • Relevant Human Resource experience in a global organization, working within Indonesia.
  • Able to demonstrate success operating in a consultative role at a senior level, able to build relationships within all levels of organization and have the ability to work in a team environment as a team leader/member.
  • Advanced understanding of Human Resources, business management practices, and practical application of HR theoretical principles.
  • Proven experience in change management and is able to apply change management approaches to enhance new initiatives and implementations.
  • Advanced knowledge with Indonesia local laws (BPJS Employment, BPJS Health, constitution number 13 year 2003, Constitution number 6 year 2023, President Regulation No.35/2021 (Omnibus Law)), statutory and tax requirements.
  • A plus if have worked with Oracle as a HRIS system.
  • Willingness to travel domestically, when required.
