Job Description:
Join our client as a Supermarket Manager and play a key role in providing exceptional service to our customers and community. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to lead our supermarket operations and drive sales growth. The Supermarket Manager will oversee all aspects of store management, from staffing and training to inventory control and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage all aspects of Fresh supermarket operations, including sales, staffing, inventory management, and customer service.
  2. Hire, train, and supervise a team of employees, providing coaching and support to ensure a high level of performance and customer satisfaction.
  3. Develop and implement sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and merchandising initiatives to drive traffic and increase sales.
  4. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations governing retail operations.
  5. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment, adhering to health and safety standards and best practices.
  6. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a prompt and professional manner, striving to resolve concerns and exceed expectations.
  7. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, suppliers, and community stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, with a focus on supermarket or grocery store operations.
  3. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  5. Proficiency in retail management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  6. Knowledge of merchandising principles, inventory management techniques, and sales strategies.
  7. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  8. Commitment to excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  9. Willing to relocate to Medan.
