About the role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team at CV. Baraja Berkat Consult', a leading provider of engineering services in Samarinda, East Kalimantan. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and analysis of structures, ensuring the safety and integrity of our projects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding civil engineering assignments.

What you'll be doing

1. Conducting structural analyses and designing structures such as buildings, bridges, and industrial facilities
2. Preparing detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and construction personnel
4. Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
5. Providing technical support and problem-solving during the construction phase
6. Continuously researching and implementing the latest advancements in structural engineering

What we're looking for

1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, preferably in the design and analysis of buildings and infrastructure projects
3. Proficiency in structural analysis software, such as ETABS, SAP2000, or FEM-based tools
4. Strong technical skills in structural design, including the use of reinforced concrete, steel, and timber
5. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
6. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
7. A commitment to staying up-to-date with industry standards and best practices
