Structural Engineer

NOTE: This job is remote job and will not require you to come into the office. However, we do require you to have stable internet access and any necessary equipment (a working computer and smartphone) to perform the tasks required.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a local or internationally recognized university and at least five years of practical experience in building construction projects. This role involves working closely with the Chief Engineer to manage, plan, and coordinate civil and structural works, ensuring that project objectives in terms of time, cost, and quality are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Chief Engineer and assist in managing, planning, and coordinating civil and structural works.
• Ensure that projects meet time, cost, and quality objectives.
• Coordinate design and detailing with consultants and develop detailed shop drawings.
• Review submissions from subcontractors and liaise with other work disciplines.
• Utilize REVIT and AUTOCAD software applications proficiently to complete tasks.
• Maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate self-motivation, and take initiative in all aspects of the role.
• Communicate effectively and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Work independently and manage responsibilities efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of five years of practical experience in building construction projects.
• Proficient in REVIT and AUTOCAD software applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, and responsible.
