Structural Engineer

Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Liaise with clients and interpret technical specifications to understand the specification requirements.
2. Identify the Company scope of work in the project and submission of change order variation.
3. Solve technical issues that arise in the project.
4. Prepare and submit design and construction documents.
5. Conduct technical reviews and clarifications with customers and suppliers.
6. Coordinate design with other engineering disciplines.
7. Design outfitting and prepare material take-offs.
8. Advise and supervise the fabrication team in terms of engineering and fabrication aspects.
9. Perform some drafting tasks and guide drafters in drafting.

Qualifications

1. Experience and knowledge in engineering of steel structures.
2. Ability to work independently and in a team.
3. Good team player who can work harmoniously with people of different nationalities.
4. Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
5. Proficient in operating and drawing in AutoCAD.
6. Willingness to be based overseas in Batam.
